"THE WEB" COLLECTION @ AXDW

The designer's first capsule collection was titled "The Web" and presented at Zappeion Megaron during Athens Fashion Week (AXDW).
The outfits were decorated with metallic or plastic grid details.

CONCEPT:
The admirable interaction of every living organism, object or situation in lifetime, through the impact of the universal web system, constitutes the basic idea-inspiration of the collection.
Specifically, it refers to the social web of relationships and everyday life situations, the psychological web of emotional disturbances and the authority web injustice and inequality.
Furthermore, it concerns the addicted relasionship between humans and computers, where obviously there is a misconception of reality versus fiction.
Apart from that, the web is not only a mechanism that keeps people "trapped", but also a way to keep them "connected".
After all, anyone can always escape through his/her personal unique way.
As in life, so in fashion!
